Answers to the questionnaire

1.     65% of the people were female and 35% were male college students.

2.     95% of students said they do not read the college magazine meaning we are not attracting our target audience.

3.     Colour magazine should be is blue, black and white as most popular colours. And maybe add in touches of green, red or yellow as they were all joint fourth.

4.     85% of the people said they’d prefer to either pay nothing or 50p

5.     70% of the people said they’d rather the magazine to be published monthly or every half term.

6.     50% wanted informal writing and 40% wanted mixed; go for mix as it benefits everybody.

7.     People wanted the magazine to include music, free gifts and either sport, film/TV or fashion. These would be the predominant pages in the magazine.

8.     On the front cover 40% of people wanted a student, 30% wanted a celeb and 30% wanted nature; mix and match the covers over time to benefit everybody.

9.     100% of the students wanted a job page within the magazine, so that they can find out about local stores looking to employ new staff in their local area.
